    About the Program

    Change Management as an Integrated Organizational Strategy.  This session will explore the “why” behind effective change management, focusing on how to leverage the “why” to create buy-in to initiate and implement change. We will briefly review how change management has evolved over the last decade, and will suggest resources for effective change management models.

    About the Presenter

    Penny Fletcher has been a training professional across industries for almost 30 years.  She had 19 years’ experience as a teacher and administrator before transitioning to human resources, a field she has worked in for the last 14 years.  She holds both PHR and SHRM certifications and is also a certified Lean Leader in the Six Sigma program. Over the course of her human resources career, she has supported a school district, a government contractor, the Fort Worth, Texas Police Department, and a hotel/resort. She is very active in both the state and local SHRM affiliates, serving as president of Frontier Human Resources for three years. She is also an industry champion for the Hospitality/Tourism Next Gen Sector Partnership in her area.  She is currently utilizing her HR experiences serving as Technical Program Manager for Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne.

    Jaime Davis is the CEO of Beacon Harbor Services, a training and consulting firm whose mission is to serve others by sharing strategies that prepare people for success. Jaime provides training and education seminars for businesses, individuals and education institutions, and is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and motivating others.  In addition to the consulting business, Jaime works in higher education, bringing more than 17 years of experience from Admissions, Instruction, Career Services, and Administration. She serves on several boards, specifically focused on homeless and underserved populations. Jaime is also active in ministry, supporting her husband with their church by leading both music and women’s ministries.

    Jaime holds a Ph.D. in Business Management with a Leadership Emphasis, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.  Jaime and her husband, Joshua, lived in Idaho for 9 years prior to relocating to Wyoming in 2014. She enjoys music and the arts. In her spare time, Jaime can be found in the kitchen creating culinary masterpieces for friends and family to enjoy!
