    As of January 2015, The Affordable Care Act has kicked into full gear.  While there is some reprieve through transition periods, reporting obligations begin for the 2015 calendar year, large employers and insurers must file their first IRS 1094-C and 1095-C forms in early 2016. The information reported on these forms will determine whether your company and your employees are in compliance, or if you could potentially receive stiff penalties.

    This webinar will review section 6055 and section 6056, cover the different IRS forms and establish examples as to how each form could be used.  It will cover potential technology solutions as well as a review of the applicable fines and fees associated with the reporting requirements. 

    Amanda Ericson is the President Elect for NCHRA.  She has had the opportunity to work as a client consultant and strategic partner for companies in not-for-profit, governmental, and privately held organizations. Amanda started in a Human Resources role 15 years ago.  Her interest in the profession grew when she realized businesses were most successful when they engaged HR as a strategic partner.  Amanda has her SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification, and has experience working with talent strategy, HR technology, and health care reform. She has had the opportunity to share her knowledge as a presenter at seminars and for webinars, has been a guest speaker for podcasts, and was interviewed for HR magazine.
