About the Webinar Series
This webinar series, titled 'Critical Evaluation of the Injured Worker', will present fact patterns and commentary demonstrating how to critically evaluate a common predicament faced by all HR departments: managing the injured worker. The webinars will use fact patterns and issue-spotting exercises to introduce and address four main topics when managing injured employees: risk management, workers’ compensation, coordination of leave, and return to work and accommodation. Each webinar will build upon the information and details learned during the previous one.
This is Part 1 of a 3 Part Webinar Series offered in 2020.
The cost breakdown is as follows:
NCHRA Members: $10 each or $25 for registering for all three
Non Members: $15 each or $40 for registering for all three

About the Presenters
Aaron Guin is an attorney in Employers Council’s Loveland office. Aaron provides legal counsel and training to private and public sector employers in a variety of employment law matters, including Title VII and civil rights, wage and hour compliance, employee medical issues, employment & severance contracts, and personnel management. Before joining Employers Council, Aaron practiced law in Nashville, Tennessee as a trial attorney, representing the private and public sectors in state and federal courts.
Jaci Kremser is the Risk Manager with the Town of Windsor and has worked in the public sector for eight years providing Human Resources and Risk Management services. Jaci provides a variety of loss control, safety and risk management strategic measures, including training and compliance, drug & alcohol free workplace programs, incident investigations, ADA coordination and compliance, workers' compensation and property/casualty claims management and safety program management.
