    Human resource management is a dynamic and increasingly fast-changing field. The Northern Colorado Human Resource Association (NCHRA) can help you stay on top of best practices, emerging trends and pending legislation.

    NCHRA membership enables you to enjoy member-only discounts, professional resources and networking opportunities. What’s more, if you’re a SHRM member, you’ll enjoy a cost savings that makes NCHRA membership even more affordable. As our website grows and improves, members will have access to Members Only pages, events, information and resources. 

    NCHRA membership is open to individuals who:

    • Hold a human resource or benefits management role within an organization
    • Administer or support the administration of a public or private employment agency
    • Specialize in human resources, industrial relations or the behavior sciences at an accredited college or university
    • Are going to school for a Human Resource degree
    • Have a passion for increasing their HR knowledge or want to stay up to date on industry changes

    NCHRA Members have the opportunity to:

    • Attend monthly meetings where you can learn from local experts, take part in interactive discussions and network with your peers while earning HRCI & SHRM credits at a discount compared to non-members
    • Access the information on the members-only section of the NCHRA site, including presentations, our membership directory and much more
    • Join a special interest group or even form one of your own
    • Develop your leadership skills by taking on a board or a board-support role
    • Participate in a certification study group – at no cost to you other than materials
    • Access to members only job postings
    • Attend the Annual Membership event

    Regular Membership allows you to take advantage of member pricing on NCHRA events, website updated regularly, and access the members-only section of our website.

    • $85 for SHRM members
    • $115 per year for non-SHRM members

    Please note: The membership year runs from July 1st through June 30th. Your membership will be prorated on a quarterly basis according to when you join.

    Premium Membership includes annual fee and 10 lunches per year, in addition to receiving member pricing on NCHRA events, plus access to the members-only section of our website.

    • $310 for SHRM members
    • $340 per year for non-SHRM members

    Membership dues subject to review and change annually

    Student Membership is free for students who are currently enrolled as a full time student (6 or more credit hours) at a four-year institution and/or a consortium of these, or a two-year community college with a matriculation agreement between it and a four-year college or university. Students must show a demonstrated emphasis in human resources management subjects.  Graduate Students may become a member for a discounted fee of only $40.00. If you meet these requirements, please register to become a student member on our website, then email the following information to our University Relations Chair at NCHRAssociation@gmail.com.

    • Your name
    • Type of degree your seeking and major/minor
    • Expected date of graduation
    • Proof of current enrollment, including number of credit hours currently enrolled in (i.e. course schedule)
    • Name of school you are enrolled in

    If approved as a student member, you must reapply for student membership each year in June during our annual membership renewal period by resubmitting the information above. Student membership requirements are subject to change at any time without prior notification.
