    Overview:

    KeyPoint Government Solutions is currently seeking candidates for a Communications and Engagement Coordinator. Candidates for this opening must be located in the northern Colorado area.

     

    Under general direction of the Chief People Officerand the HR function, this role is responsible for corporate communications and employee engagement and corporate volunteerism. The successful candidate will be an excellent writer and organized project leader, and must feel comfortable directing and executing a wide variety of creative projects and activities. The ideal candidate will be able to serve as a skilled communications traffic coordinator and coordinate volunteers across our nationwide network of employees. Primary responsibilities include coordinating, writing, editing and proofreading communications for internal and external populations; supporting employee engagement efforts; and supporting corporate volunteerism activities to identify and manage volunteer opportunities throughout the country. 

     

    Essential Functions:

    • Be able to write compelling, clear copy with the aim of adding value to KeyPoint’s communications and brand messaging

    • Have a solid foundation of writing and optimizing copy for company communications, including email, web and social media content, newsletters and other marketing materials

    • Be familiar with online community management and peer-to-peer recognition goals and practices

    • Have an interest in developing the corporate volunteerism initiative by working with employees to identify, recruit for and coordinate volunteer opportunities throughout the country. Representing approximately 50% of the responsibilities of this position, this role will plan, organize and manage the KeyPoint Cares program and corresponding communications needs to meet organization goals.

    • Have exceptional attention to detail, time management and general thoroughness for managing multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

    • Be experienced in a collaborative setting, where open dialogue, exchanges of ideas, and the ability to accept feedback are essential

    • Have a demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with and support executives, particularly relating to content development and distribution, and in helping to develop nascent, complex programs

    • Must be able to work independently on some projects and collaboratively on others with little oversight

    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in communications preferred; combination of relevant experience and education may be substituted

    • 3+ years of progressive company communications experience or in a similar position

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Must be organized and able to handle multiple and diverse priorities concurrently

    • Solid project management skills

    • Initiative to get the job done and willingness to be part of a team

    • Excellent computer technology skills

    • Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation

    • Strong interpersonal and listening skills

    • Attitude of responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile

    • U.S. citizenship (required for federal security clearance)

    • Candidates selected for this position must pass a mandatory post-offer drug test

    Federal Background Investigation REQUIRED, please read.

    The selected candidate for this position must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated government background investigation. This background investigation requires U.S. citizenship and will include an investigation of 10+ years of history including financial, education, employment, medical, residence, and personal records. The cost of this investigation will be paid by KeyPoint.
