This position reports directly to the Executive Director/CHRO of Employee Services. Employee Services is a centralized unit providing college-wide Human Resources, Safety & Security, and Professional Development & Wellness support services for all locations of the College. |
Duties/Functions |
This position will have three primary roles: 1) Title IX Coordinator related duties, roles and responsibilities; 2) Annual Policy & Procedure review and recommendations; 3) Annual Title IX and Policy Training for departments and college-wide.
1.) This position will serve as the official Title IX Coordinator for the College (students, employees and visitors) and oversee all investigations and resolve complaints of unlawful discrimination and harassment involving students, employees and visitors in compliance with Federal Title IX regulations and policies & procedures. This position will be responsible for managing aspects of the Minors on Campus compliance as well. This position will work closely with the Executive Director/CHRO and others across the College on complex situations.
The Title IX Coordinator/Compliance Manager will be a resource for and will collaborate with many departments across the College such as but not limited to:
Dean of Students
Student Counseling (CARE Team)
Student Disability Access Center
Employee Relations
Human Resources
Campus Safety & Security
Faculty Teaching & Learning Center
Academic Affairs Deans and Faculty
2.) This position will lead the College’s annual review of an identified subset of Policies & Procedures to ensure compliance and reflection of current legal requirements, environment and resources, cycling through all Employee Services Policies & Procedures over a 5-year plan working with appropriate stakeholders and following the Policies & Procedures reformation process. This will require tracking Policies & Procedures at various stages of the review process. This position will assist in the development and establishment of policies, procedures, and guidelines and be primarily responsible for monitoring Aims compliance efforts and assessing college-wide performance, to provide a safe and non-discriminatory learning and working environment for all members of the Aims community.
3.) This position will facilitate and coordinate institution-wide compliance activities by providing support, training, awareness programs, and educational resources to assist Aims departments fulfill their legal and regulatory responsibilities.
Communications:
This position will draft and send clear communications to constituent groups regarding compliance training goals, processes, and outcomes.
This position will often not have authority to compel participation, so they must rely upon the ability to motivate Aims community members to participate in training activities.
This position will often have to interact with College community members who may display a range of reactions to compliance activities, from reluctance to participate to outward hostility. They must rely upon the ability to motivate Aims community members to participate in compliance activities.

Requirements |
The nature of the work in Compliance Manager performs often includes dealing with sensitive personal information (such as background checks and conflict of interest forms). Discretion and appropriate interactions with Aims’ community members is required.

Salary Range |
Minimum: $68,890 per year |
