Description |
The incumbent in this position will be responsible for providing HR support to NCAP employees, managers, and candidates. Key to this role is the ability to provide timely, accurate, friendly and professional service in a way that furthers the community of NCAP. Position reports to HR Director.

Essential Duties |
- Talent acquisition: full life cycle recruiting including engaging with the workforce committees to determine vacant positions; developing job descriptions; developing proactive outreach and recruitment methods; initiating contact with candidates and gathering application materials; scheduling and managing interview process; developing offer letters. Attending recruitment events throughout the US, typically in the Spring and Fall (average 3-4 overnight trips per year).
- Onboarding and Offboarding: full onboarding and offboarding responsibilities including document collection and management; orientation; benefits enrollment and coordination with benefit vendors, coordination with payroll, data entry, etc.
- Coordination of Payroll in conjunction with Finance department
- Administration of performance management process to include scheduling and tracking
- Training: coordinating, scheduling, and/or conducting training programs
- Working closely with managers to respond to requests for information or questions, or to provide guidance on HR related issues
- Proactively engaging employees, responding to requests for information, acting as a resource to employees, scheduling employee meetings; developing employee communication material
- Developing information for and managing the HR intranet page (SharePoint)
- Benefits: providing support to employees regarding benefit questions, participating in open enrollment, participating in benefit reviews and market surveys, managing benefit vendors
- Process and workflow development
- Policy development
- Leading or participating in special projects. For example, selecting an HRIS system or an ATS, developing employee spot surveys, etc.
- Special events management (Annual picnic, holiday events, etc.)

Skills, Education & Other |
- B.S. in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or related field required
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
- 5-10 years' experience in a similar fast paced position preferably in a healthcare environment
- Experience with all functional areas of HR preferred including: talent management, benefits, compensation, training, policy development, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, leave management, WC and UI, etc.
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS/payroll system
- Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint
- Desire to work in a high performing HR department, with the following: detail orientation, highly organized, fast-paced environment; continuous learning and growth; high ethical standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to evaluate a situation and make good decisions; must be able to work independently with initiative and discretion
- Experience creating processes and workflow procedures required
- Able to be a highly professional team member while working collaboratively with others
- Colorado driver's license required

$75,000 to $90,000 annually
