Company Description |
Brendle Group seeks a full-time Marketing and Business Development Specialist with two or more years of experience to join our team, in pursuit of our company mission to accelerate equitable solutions to address the climate crisis. We are searching for a passionate and motivated marketing and business development specialist with expertise in market research, developing and maintaining engaging content, and visual communication to support Brendle Group and its clients in maximizing impact. This role will support overhead programs, including Business Development and Marketing, as well as billable energy, water, and climate projects. The position is part of our Strategy & Impact Services Team and will regularly collaborate across all of our service teams – Engineering, Analytics, Planning & Engagement, and Operations.

Essential Duties |
Combined Billable and Overhead Responsibilities (75% time)
- Content Creation: Create engaging sustainability-related content for a variety of distribution methods including social media, outreach collateral, and web content
- Document Design: Lead the design of large reports (using Adobe Creative Suite or similar) using best practices in ADA Accessibility
- Collateral Production: Provide routine updates to existing Adobe Creative Suite files and design new outreach materials based on existing content
- Visual Design: Create engaging visuals such as infographics, illustrations, and social media graphics
- Multimedia: Use other visual communication methods – examples include online engagement platforms, video development, and animation
Brendle Group Overhead Responsibilities (25% time)
- Proposals: Support proposal development process and ensure timely delivery
- Marketing Resources: Develop and maintain resource databases, templates, and other company resources including project descriptions and team resumes
- Opportunity Screening: Help inform Brendle Group’s project portfolio through screening of new business opportunities
- Market Research: Employ a variety of research methods and tools to benchmark industry best practices, competitive landscape, and innovative solutions
- Presenting and Reporting: Support preparation of reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate research findings and recommendations to the business development team

Skills and Experience |
Required Qualifications and Experience
- B.S. or equivalent in marketing, business, communications, graphic design, visual arts, or sustainability-related degree from an accredited 4-year university or college
- Strong knowledge of PC-based software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite®
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Adobe Creative Suite®
- Video software such as Final Cut Pro, Blender, Camtasia, ScreenFlow, etc.
- Online design tools such as Canva or Figma
- Online Engagement Platforms such as Engagement HQ, Social Pinpoint, Citizenlab, or Consider.it
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Preferred qualifications and experience to include any of the following:
- Bilingual
- Experience developing multipage documents using Colorado’s ADA Accessibility standards
- Direct experience with sustainability or consulting
- Experience with email marketing platforms including Emma and/or MailChimp
- Expertise using Google Analytics and other analytics tracking tools

Salary and Benefits |
Salary Range: $65,900 to $93,700
Brendle Group offers a flexible and collaborative workplace with a competitive salary and a generous benefits package. Based on position requirements and candidate experience, the base salary range for this role is $65,900 to $93,700. Benefits include:
