About the Program
Please join us to explore the concept of works-based learning (WBL) and its transformative impact on recruitment and retention practices. WBL integrates classroom knowledge with practical experience, allowing learners to apply their skills in real-world settings. It also creates an easy, meaningful onramp to employment with a company, and provides the employer with an additional talent pool. We will discuss various models of WBL, such as job shadows, career tours, internships, and apprenticeships, highlighting their benefits for employers. Additionally, we will examine best practices for implementing effective WBL programs and share testimonials that illustrate successful outcomes. By the end of this presentation, participants will have an overview of how work-based learning can enhance recruitment and foster a skilled workforce.
