    2024 Executive Board Of Directors

    President

    Lisa Austin, SPHR

    Lisa joined NoCoHRA in early 2020 when she moved to Loveland to enjoy all of the outdoor activities the state has to offer. She enjoyed meeting NoCoHRA members as she learned about the area.

    Lisa began serving on the NoCoHRA Board of Directors as the Workforce Readiness and Diversity Co-Chair in 2021 as a way to help the HR community, then served as the President-Elect in 2022. She has been in the HR field for more than 20 years and is passionate about helping companies succeed through their people.

    She is looking forward to supporting NoCoHRA’s Board and its membership to attract and develop their people!

    Secretary

    Anna Lynch, PHR, MSOL

    Anna joined the board in late 2023 as a member at-large. Anna has earned her PHR certification and aspires to earn additional HR certifications after recently graduating with her MS in Organizational Leadership focused in HR.

     Anna joins the board with 15 years’ experience among multiple industries and company sizes. Anna's most recent experience includes supporting the Fort Collins Nursery. 

    Anna enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their furry and feathered pets. Anna likes to spend time hiking, camping, fishing, baking, and traveling. Anna looks forward to working with the rest of the board and supporting our local HR community.

    President-Elect

    Amy Smith

    Amy joined NCHRA in 2018 after relocating from Alabama and being a board member for her local chapter and the Alabama State Council for 12+ years.  She holds a BS in Business from Athens State University in Athens, Alabama and a MBA with a focus in Human Resources from Bethel State University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is also both PHR and SHRM-CP certified.

    Amy has worked in HR since 2000, mostly in a manufacturing setting and is currently the Human Resources Business Partner for Broadcom in Fort Collins. She is married with two adult sons and enjoys traveling, concerts and live music and movies.

    She is excited to learn more about the chapter and to assist the NoCoHRA Board with their many upcoming initiatives and events.

    Treasurer

    Mahalaxmi Majalikar

    In early 2021, Mahalaxmi became a member of NoCoHRA, the Northern Colorado Human Resources Association. Currently, she holds the position of treasurer, a role she assumed in January 2023. 

    Maha relocated from India to Fort Collins in 2020. Maha is passionate about meeting new people and establishing friendships. NoCoHRA has been instrumental in providing her with an excellent opportunity to expand her professional network and enhance her HR skills.

    With over seven years of experience in the field, Maha is a dedicated Human Resource professional. Her current role is as the Human Resources Director at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Larimer County. Armed with an MBA specializing in Human Resources Management, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her position.

    Beyond her professional pursuits, Maha has a love for cooking and is a trained classical dancer. Expressing her enthusiasm for her role as treasurer, she looks forward to contributing to and giving back to the HR community through her involvement with NoCoHRA.

    Membership Co-Chair

    Therese Boschman

    Therese has been a member of NoCoHRA since 2015 and began serving on the Board of Directors in 2021. She is the Membership co-chair and in her role she focuses on recruiting and retaining Chapter members and coordinating networking/membership appreciation events. Therese currently works at Colorado State University as a Classification/Compensation Consultant on the central HR team.

    Her HR career has spanned both the public and private sector and provided her valuable experience in various HR generalist and specialist roles. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She left the Midwest to venture further north with her husband, lived in Alberta Canada, but has called Loveland home for the past 19 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fun family, boating on Horsetooth, biking, and baking cupcakes. 

    As a chapter member, Therese has enjoyed the great opportunities for quality professional development and connecting with other local HR colleagues. She is looking forward to supporting the HR community and promoting the profession in any way she can, on the NoCoHRA Board of Directors. 

    Membership Co-Chair

    Robin Baker

    Robin has been a member of NoCoHRA since 2019. She loves all the benefits and networking opportunities that membership provides. In 2022, she joined the board as a Membership co-chair. Robin has been in HR for more than 10 years, holds her SHRM-CP, and her Group Benefits Associate (GBA) from the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists. She is currently working as a Human Resources Generalist for Northern Water in Berthoud.

    Professional Development Co-Chair

    Gina Waite

    Gina has been a part of NoCoHRA since 2019 and has served on the board since 2020. Currently serving as Professional Development team and will continue for 2021 along with Chelsea Reed. For the role Gina and Chelsea work as a team to help come up with relevant speakers and help run different networking events. Gina is a Northern Colorado native and cannot imagine living anywhere else.  She has been married for 20 years and has two adult children.

    Gina is a Principal of a Financial Planning firm specializing in Retirement plans for businesses and found value in SHRM and wanted to be able to share it with her clients to add more value. “The connections I have made through NoCoHRA have given me an even better understanding of the HR world. I am seeing different challenges across the board with the fast-paced environment we live in."

    Professional Development Co-Chair

    Chelsea Reed

    Chelsea has been involved with NoCoHRA since 2019 and began serving on the Board of Directors in 2020. She currently serves on the Professional Development Team and will continue in this role in 2024 alongside Gina Waite. As the Professional Development Team chair, Chelsea and Gina work to bring relevant speakers and topics to NoCoHRA membership. They also assist in running various networking events throughout the year. Chelsea is proud to be a Northern Colorado native and she loves traveling, riding her horses, playing Golf at TPC Berthoud Golf Course and spending time outdoors with her family.  She has been married for 18 years and has two beautiful daughters.

    Chelsea is a Benefits Consulting Partner at Colorado Insurance Store and has been an insurance agent for the past 16 years. She loves helping Businesses implement benefits and recruit and retain talent. She also enjoys assisting Medicare eligible members with their insurance. The relationship and connections she has made through NoCoHRA have been invaluable to her. She appreciates her ability to bring advanced HR knowledge and connection to her current clients and is so grateful to NoCoHRA for expanding her understanding of the HR world.

    Taylor Pribble, MBA, SPHR, PHR

    As a native of Northern Colorado, Taylor has deep roots in the local community. Taylor's diverse HR experience began in 2018 and span from roles in manufacturing to leading HR for small to medium-sized firms. Taylor holds both PHR and SPHR certifications, along with a Master's in Business, equipping her to drive impactful HR strategies. She is passionate about fostering organizational growth while prioritizing the employee experience and development. Taylor is excited to support Workforce Readiness/DEI initiatives with NoCoHRA and is committed to making a positive impact in the community.

    Certification

    Mindy McGrath Haehre

    Mindy first joined NoCoHRA in early 2000 and then again in the beginning of 2023. She assumes the role as the Certification Chair. She received her PHR certification 20 years ago and found it useful to engage in the NoCoHRA study group. She is excited to lead the program and help others move forward with their certification journey. She is strategically working on developing study groups and promoting resources that are available through SHRM and her community.   

    Mindy has over 20 years of HR experience with a big emphasis working with international companies. Mindy lives in Loveland, Colorado. She has four grown children and in her spare time (which is a new concept), she enjoys hiking, golfing and traveling.  

    Past President and SHRM Foundation

    Micki Giardino, SHRM-SCP

     

    Micki has been a part of NoCoHRA since 2019 and has served on the board since 2019.  Micki is currently serving as Past President and current Secretary for NoCoHRA.  Previously Micki served as the President & Professional Development Co-Chair.  Micki is a native Coloradoan, raised in Fort Collins and is amazed at the growth of Northern Colorado.  Micki is passionate about HR and developing people.

    “I love NoCoHRA for the people.  It may sound cliché, but the members of NoCoHRA have made me feel welcome; I know I can count on them for advice, a laugh, or just a sounding board.  I appreciate each and every one of our members and board members.”

    Brittany Brink, MSM, PHR, SHRM-CP

     

     

     

    Brittany Brink joined Northern Colorado Human Resource Association (NoCoHRA) in 2023 after relocating to Fort Collins from northern Arizona. With over 15 years of HR experience across various industries, she brings valuable expertise to her role as a member-at-large on the board. Currently, Brittany works in the hospitality sector at a Fortune 500 company, overseeing operations across the U.S. and Canada, including international recruitment efforts.

    She holds a BS in Business Management and an MSM in HR/Change Management from the University of Central Florida. Brittany is PHR and SHRM-CP certified and has recently obtained her Workplace Mental Health Ally certificate through SHRM.

    Outside of work, Brittany enjoys hiking, backpacking, and traveling around the world with her husband and two young sons. She is eager to contribute to the chapter’s initiatives and connect with the HR community in Northern Colorado.

    Amber Kaseman

    Amber has been a member of NoCoHRA since 2024 and joined the board shortly after. She loves the comradery and networking opportunities that membership provides. Amber has been in HR and Recruiting for 4 years. Throughout her career she has worked in Finance, Private Equity and Startup's. Her career has been focused on building talent departments in a strategic and scalable manner with a special focus on DEIBA. She loves the Northern Colorado community and loves being able to contribute as a member of this board.
