    2023 Executive Board Of Directors

    Lisa Austin, SPHR

    Lisa joined NoCoHRA in early 2020 when she moved to Loveland to enjoy all of the outdoor activities the state has to offer. She enjoyed meeting NoCoHRA members as she learned about the area.

    Lisa began serving on the NoCoHRA Board of Directors as the Workforce Readiness and Diversity Co-Chair in 2021 as a way to help the HR community, then served as the President-Elect in 2022. She has been in the HR field for more than 20 years and is passionate about helping companies succeed through their people.

    She is looking forward to supporting NoCoHRA’s Board and its membership to attract and develop their people!

    Past President
    Micki Giardino, SHRM-SCP

    Micki has been a part of NoCoHRA since 2019 and has served on the board since 2019.  Micki is currently serving as Past President and oversees membership for NoCoHRA.  Previously Micki served as the President & Professional Development Co-Chair.  Micki is a native Coloradoan, raised in Fort Collins and is amazed at the growth of Northern Colorado.  Micki is passionate about HR and developing people.

    Mahalaxmi Majalikar

    Mahalaxmi joined NoCoHRA as a member in early 2021. She is currently serving as the Secretary since August 2021. 

    Mahalaxmi moved to Fort Collins from India in 2020. Mahalaxmi loves meeting new people and making new friends. NoCoHRA gave her an amazing opportunity to network and grow her HR connections, and get up-to-date on necessary HR skills. Mahalaxmi is a Human Resource professional and has 4 years of work experience. Mahalaxmi works at Beyond Campus Innovation as Human Resources Manager. She has an MBA with a specialization in Human Resources Management. She loves cooking and is a trained classical dancer.

    Membership Co-Chair
    Therese Boschman

    Therese has been a member of NoCoHRA since 2015 and began serving on the Board of Directors in 2021. She is the Membership co-chair and in her role she focuses on recruiting and retaining Chapter members and coordinating networking/membership appreciation events. Therese currently works at Colorado State University as a Classification/Compensation Consultant on the central HR team.

    Her HR career has spanned both the public and private sector and provided her valuable experience in various HR generalist and specialist roles. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She left the Midwest to venture further north with her husband, lived in Alberta Canada, but has called Loveland home for the past 19 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fun family, boating on Horsetooth, biking, and baking cupcakes. 

    As a chapter member, Therese has enjoyed the great opportunities for quality professional development and connecting with other local HR colleagues. She is looking forward to supporting the HR community and promoting the profession in any way she can, on the NoCoHRA Board of Directors. 

    Membership Co-Chair
    Robin Baker
    Robin has been a member of NoCoHRA since 2019 and loves the networking opportunities that membership provides. She joined the board in 2022 and is currently serving as the Membership co-chair. Robin moved with her family to the Loveland area in 2016 from Texas. She loves to travel regularly and play pickleball in her spare time. Currently, Robin works as the Human Resources Director for Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County.  
    Professional Development Co-Chair
    Gina Waite

    Gina has been a part of NoCoHRA since 2019 and has served on the board since 2020. Currently serving as Professional Development team and will continue for 2021 along with Chelsea Reed. For the role Gina and Chelsea work as a team to help come up with relevant speakers and help run different networking events. Gina is a Northern Colorado native and cannot imagine living anywhere else.  She has been married for 20 years and has two adult children.

    Gina is a Principal of a Financial Planning firm specializing in Retirement plans for businesses and found value in Shrm and wanted to be able to share it with her clients to add more value. “The connections I have made through NoCoHRA have given me an even better understanding of the HR world. I am seeing different challenges across the board with the fast-paced environment we live in."

    Professional Development Co-Chair
    Chelsea Reed

    Chelsea has been involved with NoCoHRA since 2019 and began serving on the Board of Directors in 2020. She currently serves on the Professional Development Team and will continue in this role in 2021 alongside Gina Waite. As the Professional Development Team chair, Chelsea and Gina work to bring relevant speakers and topics to NoCoHRA membership. They also assist in running various networking events throughout the year. Chelsea is proud to be a Northern Colorado native and she loves traveling, riding her horses, playing Golf at TPC Berthoud Golf Course and spending time outdoors with her family.  She has been married for 14 years and has two beautiful daughters.

    Chelsea is a Benefits Consulting Partner at Colorado Insurance Store and has been an insurance agent for the past 14 years. She loves helping Businesses implement benefits and recruit and retain talent. She also enjoys assisting Medicare eligible members with their insurance. The relationship and connections she has made through NoCoHRA have been invaluable to her. She appreciates her ability to bring advanced HR knowledge and connection to her current clients and is so grateful to NoCoHRA for expanding her understanding of the HR world.

    Workforce Readiness & DEI
    Debi Triplett

    Debi has been a member of NoCoHRA since March 2021. She currently serves as the Digital Marketing Chair. In her role, she focuses on promoting and representing the NoCoHRA and SHRM Foundation via social media platforms.

    Debi works in the nonprofit sector with CARE Housing, Inc. and specializes in Human Resources and Administration. She has a passion for being a change agent, strategic business partner and advocate for people well-being. In her free time, she enjoys cultivating a love for writing guided meditation scripts, practicing meditation and enjoying time with family.

    As a chapter member, Debi has enjoyed NoCoHRA’s commitment to providing high-quality information and trainings. Debi is looking forward to connecting with HR professionals, local businesses, and community partners. Her favorite quote is “Action is the foundational key to all success.” ~ Pablo Picasso.

    February 1, 2023, Debi moved from her Marketing role on our Board of Directors to a Workforce Development role. She will continue serving in both roles until we find a Marketing Director.

    College Relations/Young Professionals
    Joey Grice

    Joey joined NoCoHRA in 2021 and serves on the Board as the College Relations/Young Professionals Chair starting in 2022. As a former member of the CSU Student SHRM Chapter and current Co-Advisor to CSU’s Student SHRM Chapter, he firmly believes in fostering the relationship between the education and professional world.

    He has spent six years consulting on HR and payroll software and two years working with start-ups consulting on leaves of absences, before becoming an HR Generalist in Northern Colorado in 2021.

    Joey enjoys spending time with his wife, Cassidy, and two dogs, Bosco and Ranger. A dream weekend is both the Broncos and his fantasy football teams scoring a win with the possibility of good weather to enjoy a motorcycle ride.

    Christina Coffman

    Christina joined the NoCoHRA Board in March 2023; however, she has been involved with COSHRM since 2013, assisting with the event planning for the COSHRM state biennial conference. She assumes the responsibility as the Marketing Director. In her role, she focuses on the chapter's strategy to attract new members, create awareness around upcoming social events, and highlight the benefits of being a member.

    Christina has over 22 years of experience in Corporate America and the non-profit industry. She focuses her energy and mission on helping those who want to be conscious of their business, create a better future for their teams, and are dedicated to making a difference in the world. 

    She lives in Windsor with her young daughter and enjoys traveling, photography, dancing and hiking the Rocky Mountains. Even though she is a native of Colorado, she has lived abroad with her daughter and adapted to new cultures, languages and people with a love of learning new things and being adventurous.

    Mindy McGrath Haehre

    Mindy first joined NoCoHRA in early 2000 and then again in the beginning of 2023. She assumes the role as the Certification Chair. She received her PHR certification 20 years ago and found it useful to engage in the NoCoHRA study group. She is excited to lead the program and help others move forward with their certification journey. She is strategically working on developing study groups and promoting resources that are available through SHRM and her community.   

    Mindy has over 20 years of HR experience with a big emphasis working with international companies. Mindy lives in Loveland, Colorado. She has four grown children and in her spare time (which is a new concept), she enjoys hiking, golfing and traveling.

    Amy Smith

    Amy joined NCHRA in 2018 after relocating from Alabama and being a board member for her local chapter and the Alabama State Council for 12+ years.  She holds a BS in Business from Athens State University in Athens, Alabama and a MBA with a focus in Human Resources from Bethel State University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is also both PHR and SHRM-CP certified.

    Amy has worked in Human Resources since 2000, mostly in a manufacturing setting and is currently the Human Resources Business Partner for Broadcom in Fort Collins. She is married with two adult sons and enjoys traveling, concerts and live music and movies.

    She is excited to learn more about the chapter and to assist the NoCoHRA Board with their many upcoming initiatives and events.

    Torrey Fitzrandolph

    Torrey joined the board in October 2023. As a soon-to-be graduate of Colorado State University and active participant in the CSU SHRM chapter, she was eager to explore fresh networking and career development opportunities. Her involvement with NoCoHRA has proven to be a gratifying experience, as she revels herself in taking on challenging tasks and continually pushing herself to attain greater expertise in the field. She is excited about contributing to various aspects of the board’s work and gaining a deeper understanding of Human Resources through these experiences.

    Although she is relatively new to the field of Human Resources, she is particularly interested in generalist roles that allow her to have an impact on various aspects of HR initiatives, making use of her wide-ranging skill set. Her objective is to introduce a fresh, forward thinking perspective to organizations, emphasizing the integration of business and HR strategies to achieve overarching objectives and play a pivotal role in shaping decisions within the organization. She is excited about earning a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology and obtaining her SHRM-CP certification in the coming month.

    Anna Lynch

    Anna joined the board in late 2023 as a member at-large. Anna has earned her PHR certification and aspires to earn additional HR certifications after recently graduating with her MS in Organizational Leadership focused in HR.

     Anna joins the board with 14 years’ experience among multiple industries and company sizes. In 2023, Anna has accepted a new challenge with a company called Intelligent Growth Solutions, a vertical farming company that is opening their North America/Latin America headquarters locally with headquarters based in Edinburg, Scotland. Anna is quickly learning the requirements to support an international company.

    Anna enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their furry and feathered pets. Anna likes to spend time hiking, camping, fishing, baking, and traveling. Anna looks forward to working with the rest of the board and supporting our local HR community.
