    Annette Matthies is the Founder and CEO of Aspen Edge Consulting, LLC.  Annette’s 25+ years of experience spans across all facets of HR management.  She is passionate about advising business leaders on how to solve their people challenges.  While working in the corporate world, Annette spent several years in key executive positions in a variety of industries including software, financial services and manufacturing.  In one business she helped them achieve the coveted Malcolm Baldrige National Quality award. Annette has worked with small, medium and Fortune 500 companies, supporting them to develop their employees into amazing, highly engaged, inspiring leaders.  In addition, Annette has regularly volunteered on several boards of local non- profits over the years.

    Known as being a seasoned mentor for business executives, Annette helps leaders align their people strategies to meet their long-term objectives.  In doing so, she conveys a unique perspective that ensures employee focused initiative result in increased customer satisfaction, therefore producing more profits for businesses.  She helps individuals increase leadership competencies and emotional intelligence while working with teams to increase their communication, productivity and effectiveness. 

    Annette describes herself as a life-long learner and continues to add new skills to her toolkit.  Among those are:  Leadership Challenge, Myers Briggs, 360 assessments (EQi and Social and Emotional Intelligence), FIRO B, Reddy Process, Strengths Finder 2.0 and many more!  She is also an authorized partner for Everything DiSC and 5 Behaviors of a Cohesive Team.  Many of these are assessments for individuals and teams which would include follow up training and/or coaching.
